Well it's the start of a brand-new year. 2013 is already here. It seems like I always have good intentions, of keeping up with my blog. But as usual life keeps getting in my way. As they say best laid plans of mice and men. Hopefully, in this new year I will be able to keep up with this. Today I installed Dragon speak on my computer and I absolutely love it. Probably one of the best invention since sliced bread. My daughter-in-law is expecting again, and they are hoping for a little boy, but I will be happy with whatever God chooses to give us. Sophia is now 10 months old, and she will be walking very soon. She has a mind of her own for sure. So I am hoping that this year holds many good things for my family. And here is hoping that there are many good things to come for you and yours.

Sophia, it just amazes me how you can start out in one spot for your nap and do a complete 360 degree turn during it!

The CSD contest has been cancelled..I am going to miss it

Well here it is Monday again but it has been a while since I have written...hmmmm seems to a pattern with me huh? going to be posting some scrapbook pages soon.  So I better get my behind busy!

Where is the time going?

Well here it is October and and I have wasted another month. I have got to get myself out of this darn funk I have been in. I have been going through all my crafting things and trying to get ideas of things I can do. I am finishing up an afghan I started for a Christmas present for my Daughter in law. Christmas is only 74 days away!!!

I snagged some pictures off of the internet since there are none of Mom and the really cool car!

My Dad decide that my Mom needed a car of her own so he surprised her one day and brought her home a brand new “pink” Edsel right off the show room floor. However the one thing he didn’t count on was that she hated it! Even though it was her favorite color she thought it was the ugliest thing she had ever seen in her life. I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. Never the less, Mom made her take it back and replaced with a powder blue Oldsmobile, not nearly as cool.

About the only thing you can do in this awful heat......and yes it's too darn hot for that to.......is to sit under the fan and do some digi scrapping and genealogy.......day 38 of 100 degree plus and counting!!!!! Here are some pages I have done

James birthday was the 21st but he celebrated it on Saturday. Friends & family came over for a Texas Hold ‘Em poker party. James was the winner for the night. He is now officially 39 & holding! We couldnt be more proud of the man he has become.
