Well here it is the 1st of May and as you can see gas prices are still climbing! And it is raining! So we will pray that the Lord will spare us any severe high winds and that we lose NO tree limbs...must get those trimmed SOON!!!

I Really Don't Like Hospitals!

Had a wonderful Easter, had the girls hunting eggs, had a great cookout and fun acting silly....came in started to relax and got sick...they called 911...ambulance came and took me away and they kept me! Didn't get to come home till yesterday about 4 PM! They did an echo cardiogram of my heart and a cat-scan for clots in my lungs, but they found no additional damage...so I thank God for that. So they are sending all the tests results to my Dr. and see what she has to say about it......but at least I am home......(click heels three times...there's no place like home...there's no place like home)

Pray for storm and fire victims

As I watched the news this morning I was saddened and relived all at the same time. Relived that my family and friends were spared the tragedy and loss from the fires and storms but saddened at all the loss of life and property that others have suffered. The tow elderly sisters in Oklahoma and the fireman who lost his life trying to save others. I pray that God will hold the families close in his arms and give them some comfort. And I greatly thank him for sparing our families one more time. I hope others will join me in praying for them.

Man this is such a windy day! There are wildfires everywhere in Texas and the wind is just outrageous! We already have two small limbs down and we are praying that no bigs one come down and anymore damage......

Where has the time gone?

OMGoodness! here it is the 27th of December and I have been trying to figure out where this year has flown. It seems the older I get the more the years go by faster and faster! Sometimes I feel as if life is a roller-coaster ride that is on one of those steep hills going downward. When I was younger I couldn't wait for the next new year and now I just want them to slow down and stop coming so fast. Tara is becoming a beautiful, talented young lady (I want my baby back!) with a good head on her shoulders. My son came home and learned a valuable lesson in love...like slow down!! Babies have been born to friends and family. A whole new generation to watch grow. And then some of us have gotten older...unfortunately. But it has been a good year. So here is to 2011, a year of graduations, marriages, and hopefully a house paid off!! And maybe if we are luck...winning the big money in the lottery!!

Wow it has been over a year since I have posted! Life gets in the way sometimes I guess. So much has happened in a year, Tara is a senior in high school, my son came home and our step-son James had a little girl named Cozette Lyric Tyson! Just got back to scrapping after a long dry spell and it sure feels good too!
